We’re very pleased to announce our partnership with FC Flora Tallinn. The club from Estonia won the Meistriliiga last December and wanted to start the new season fresh with GPS & Heart Rate monitoring. Via this way, they can prepare themselves optimally for the upcoming season.
With this system, it’s possible for the coaching staff to monitor the performance of the players during training sessions and matches in order to optimize the physical performance and reduce injuries. The players of FC Flora Tallinn will wear special vests underneath their shirts which will monitor distances, speed, sprints, accelerations, decelerations, heart rate and many more parameters.
Physical trainer Kaspar Ivask will be in charge of this technology and will collaborate with the Sports Science department of JOHAN Sports to gather more information on how to interpret the data and translate it into practical advice for the training sessions.
FC Flora Tallinn is currently in Switzerland and started their pre-season last Thursday against FC Luzern (Switzerland) and won 1-2! They will continue their pre-season program against Hammarby IF, SC Kriens, RIIA FS Metta, FC Inter Turki, Sogndal Fotball and Holstein Kiel. We wish them all the best!
