Johan Sports was founded in 2014 by aerospace engineers Jelle Reichert and Robin van Kappel in Delft, the Netherlands.
In 2021, we became part of Demcon, a leading Dutch technology group with over 1200 employees and offices across Europe and Asia. Demcon develops high-end solutions in fields such as medical technology, robotics, mechatronics and wearable systems. Their expertise ranges from concept development to full-scale production, with a strong focus on innovation, quality and societal impact.
By joining Demcon, we gained access to world-class engineering, advanced production facilities and a multidisciplinary R&D environment. This partnership allows us to accelerate innovation, ensure the highest standards in hardware and software, and scale our technology to meet the growing demands of elite sports.
Together with Demcon, we are building the future of athlete monitoring. Combining sports science, engineering and data, we help teams and professionals make smarter decisions and improve performance.

Johan Sports was founded in 2014 by Jelle Reichert and Robin van Kappel. They laid the foundation for Johan Sports until Demcon took over in 2021.
