The Johan Sports Pacer system has been designed in the Netherlands together with Demcon. Production and manufacturing is done by Demcon Production in Enschede. The apps and online Johan Sports infrastructure is designed and maintained by our engineers, also located in the Netherlands. Having design, production and maintenance for software and hardware in the Netherlands makes that we fully control the production chain for our Pacer systems, making it secure, robust and reliable.
JOHAN's Story
JOHAN Sports was started in 2014 by two students from TU Delft.
Funded by the European Space Agency, we now have over ten years of experience in the Wearable Technology market to optimize performance and reduce injuries in sports teams.
With a customer base of over 150 teams in over 28 countries, we specialize in soccer, field hockey, and rugby health and performance monitoring.
We were acquired in 2021 by the technology company Demcon, and the combined strengths of sports science and technology are now integrated into our 5th-generation GPS tracker, PACER.
The partnership between JOHAN and Demcon includes ongoing software development with the JOHAN team and technological developments by our parent company, Demcon, allowing us to excel in product and technology.
While we excel at maximizing player performance, we must not overlook the human element—the need for recovery. Increased injury rates and mental exhaustion highlight this neglect.
